I'm Beatrix, and you probably found me because you are eager to improve your healthspan. You want to live healthier longer. Let’s make this a reality, one Pilates breath at a time. But first, let me introduce myself and my qualifications to assure you that you’re in great hands.

Growing Up in Toronto 🍁

My journey began in the vibrant city of Toronto, where I was born and raised. From a young age, I immersed myself in a variety of activities, including sports, ballet, and Hungarian folk dancing. These early experiences instilled in me a deep love for movement and fitness.

Academia

In 1999, I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work from McGill University. My passion for learning didn’t stop there—I went on to complete my MBA at Seton Hall University in 2001.

Thereafter, I ventured into the bustling world of New York’s hedge fund industry. But as exciting as that was, my heart kept pulling me back to fitness.

Rediscovering My Passion 🔥

It wasn’t long before I decided to follow my true calling. I left the finance world and dove headfirst into fitness instruction. Since then, I've been dedicated to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals through Pilates.

I currently split my time between Toronto and Naples, Florida, where I live with my wonderful husband, our three children, and our beloved dog, Pogi. You will often spot Pogi in some of my fitness videos and live classes!

Lifelong Learning

To ensure I provide the best instruction possible, I continually enhance my skills and knowledge. I believe that as an instructor it's crucial to stay updated with the latest techniques and trends in the fitness industry. This commitment to ongoing education helps me bring fresh, effective, and safe workouts to my clients.

The Pilates Summit 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️

In 2019, my friend, Georgina O’Grady, and I founded the Pilates Summit in Toronto. This event brings together local instructors who are passionate about Pilates, allowing us to share moves, strategies, and inspiration. It’s a fantastic opportunity for learning and growth within our community.

My Philosophy

I believe that everyone deserves to feel strong, healthy, and confident. Through Pilates, I strive to educate and inspire my clients, helping them achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being. My classes are more than just workouts—they are journeys towards a healthier, stronger and happier life.

Fitness isn't just my career—it's my passion. I've always been driven by the desire to spread the joy and benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Whether it's through my daily classes, online tutorials, or community events, I'm committed to making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

There's nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing someone transform their life through Pilates based fitness, gaining strength, flexibility, and confidence along the way.
